The Blog: Woo Returns

Besides being a bit busy at work, I don't know what has gotten into me over the past month to keep me from blogging...but it SUCKS!!!

Ok, since I'm not the gun-n-shoot guy I used to be (man, am I getting rusty, or what?), I thought a good way to warm-up and reset the palette is to show some food.

This is not just any food. Uh oh, my finger tips are getting a little warm...I might just blog away the past month in review; nope, mu..st con...tain...the...urge....!....

SMACK! POW!! KABOOM!

Nothing like uppercutting yourself to knock the senses back into their sockets. Ok, I focused now.

A few weeks ago, I had to travel for work and had the food of my life. On the company of course.

OF COURSE!!!

Food this good should not go unblogged. Food this good will damage your keyboard (from the drool).

The Buzz: Bon Appetit Chef of the Year 2005, San Francisco Magazine Chef of the Year 2005, and Restaurateur of the Year 2005 by the International Food and Beverage Forum.

The following is the 3-course meal I experienced. I have never chewed my food more than 40 times per bite until this day. This is as fancy as it gets for me.

The appetizer (sorry it was dark, and I didn't want to look like a dork flasing my camera)

THEN...

It was off to Chicago for some training. The windy city wasn't that windy that week. So the buzz is that Chicago is home of the deep dish pizza. How deep you say?

Now that's DEEP!! Yes, the pizza is bigger than DK! No camera tricks or PhotoShop necessary. Ambulance may be required.

I love my job. :)
