Walking through the valley

So a bunch of big-wigs from my corporate come to hear us out and smooth the drama that has invaded our office. Misunderstanding has led to distrust. Distrust to accusations. Accusations into reactiveness that rivals Nuclear bombs in...ok, now I'm over-reacting.

To be honest the relationships in our office need to be repaired. I have said very plainly and openly to my staff and 1 of the 2 individuals (ha, now you have to go back and read my ridicurously long blog of the situation at my work) that at my one on one interview with the head of our company's HR that I will say (1) we have worked too hard to be divided in such a manner (believe me, I think this whole thing is fixable) and therefore no one should get canned, and (2) plead for the opportunity to allow our office to fix itself, whether through a team building consultant, a one day retreat -- something that we can all gather around to do and get to the source of the problem and work on resolution. Yes it might be difficult, but it's doable. I would really be discouraged to see someone at my office let go or leave.

On a lighter note, my laptop is finally fixed! I am a little disappointed in that I didn't think it was going to take the notebookshop.com place 24 hours to fix. Well, I guess it's worth it, because I spent too many nights trying to fix it, and to no avail. I just want my wireless to work! Oh well not having access at home helped keep me out of trouble. Now I just have to stop watching too much dang TV! If its not Smallville, its Apprentice (w/ the Donald); if its not that its WWE (grew up with that stuff; yeah I know its fake--I body slammed the fool that told me years ago...j/k....I was pissed that he told me though); AND if it's not that, its Ultimate Fighting. UFC baby! I've been slowly getting myself to read more. I've got a bunch of books that I bought off recommendations from friends, but have not touched. I must have been thinking it would sink in by osmosis. I better go stock up on Red Bull, cuz reading knocks me out faster than a whole bottle of sleeping pills. But for the record, despite this slight impairment, I can read! Just want to clear the air. Seriously, I need to rebuild the discipline.

Now that I've rambled off on silly pander, I better stop for today.
